We're looking for a HR Manager to support Mitie's operations at John Radcliffe Hospital, working closely with a workforce of approximately 600 colleagues, including contingent workers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in NHS HR policies and procedures-perhaps in an HR administrative or advisory role-who's looking to grow into a more strategic and hands-on position.
What You'll Be DoingYou'll be a key point of contact for HR matters on site, supporting line managers and ensuring alignment with NHS Trust policies. Your responsibilities will include:
-Building strong relationships with managers and Trust stakeholders
-Coaching and advising on employee relations and HR best practices
-Supporting performance management and absence processes
-Contributing to workforce planning and engagement initiatives
-Leading small-scale HR projects aligned with operational goals
What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who's confident, approachable, and ready to grow. You'll ideally have:
-Experience working in NHS Trust HR environments (either directly or via a service provider)
-Familiarity with NHS HR policies and procedures
-CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
-Strong communication and time management skills
-A collaborative mindset and a calm, empathetic approach
