Job Title and Overview
We are hiring for a Catering Manager at Looe Primary School in Looe, responsible for ensuring our future generations receive nutritionally balanced and tasty food.
Role Details
* Rate: £13.35 per hour
* Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday
* Term-time only – 39 weeks per year (no weekends)
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
* Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
* Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding expectations with the client and customers.
* Manage day‑to‑day operation, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.
* Act as the main point of contact for the client in school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets and ensure these are achieved.
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
