The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be directly responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance processes across four manufacturing sites in the South West of England. The key responsibilities include:
Full responsibility for ensuring that the four manufacturing sites activities meet or ideally exceed quality standards and customer expectations
Lead and manage business policies, procedures and standards in alignment with ISO9001, AS9100, ISO45001 and ISO14001
Organise and maintain audit programs and certification processes across the sites and supply chain
Drive process improvements through audit findings and corrective actions verification
Act as a point of contact for customers, auditors and regulators, maintaining effective communication and reporting systemsThe Candidate
This role requires an "hands on" and experienced quality professional with current experience of high-volume manufacturing environments. Your CV and experience MUST be able to demonstrate your capability and achievements in:
Quality and Process leadership in a complex manufacturing environment, (Food, Aerospace, Defence etc)
The application of Control Plans, PFMEA tools, time study methodologies such as MOST, Yamazumi charts and Value Stream Mapping and the ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
In-depth knowledge and experience of managing ISO9001, AS9100, ISO45001and ISO14001systems
Have a Lead Auditor qualification, ideally in IATF16949 or AS9100
The ability to lead and manage a team of Quality and Process experts while being the face of quality to the customer and supplier baseThe Company
