Role Overview
Senior Site Manager reporting to the Contracts Manager, responsible for fully managing construction sites to meet budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Manage construction site to ensure timely, safe and quality completion.
* Ensure quality & safety inspections meet group standards.
* Coordinate with external parties (warranty providers, local authorities, utilities).
* Maintain accurate records: staff inductions, HSE, timesheets, incident reports, quality checklists.
* Call off and inspect materials per group guidelines.
* Direct and supervise workforce and subcontractors to meet quality, time and budget.
* Collaborate with Sales and Customer Care to manage plot progress and resolve customer issues.
* Ensure workforce & visitors comply with Group HSE policy.
* Travel across region sites and occasional trips to other group offices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record managing full lifecycle of construction development sites.
* Experience within the housebuilding industry.
* Understanding of NHBC or LABC/Premier standards.
* Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
* Current CSCS Card.
* SMSTS certification.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Preferred NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management.
