Bell Cornwall Recruitment are currently supporting a world class, award winning, Birmingham based precision engineering business with their search for an experienced Quality Systems & HR Manager
Responsibilities will involve:
1. Maintenance of compliance with ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
2. Assessment and improvement of workplace control measures.
3. Creation and maintenance of COSHH assessments for all substances.
4. Development and monitoring of safety and environmental KPIs.
5. Management of the company’s HSE system and documentation.
6. Oversight of HSE policies, procedures, and emergency preparedness plans including record keeping and updating technical documents in response to HSE inputs
7. Ensuring compliance with all statutory health and safety regulations.
8. Implementation of internal audits and risk assessments & leading HSE audit programs and external compliance checks.
9. Chairing H&S committee meetings and safety walk-throughs.
10. Facility inspections and identification of hazards.
HR responsibilities:
11. Proactively manage apprentice / future talent development program
12. Collaborate with technical leaders to forecast skills needs in line with project pipelines and strategic growth.
13. Management of HRIS platforms suited for workforce planning, skills tracking, and reporting.
14. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with engineering project needs, operational goals, and growth objectives.
15. Development of self-managed performance review systems (PDR).
