Location : Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon Working Hours : Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, Saturdays as Required.
Pay : To be discussed at Interview, dependant on experience.

Job Purpose: To support the Company Director in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the designated area by managing customer relationships, promoting concrete products, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and company frameworks.
The Concrete Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales, resolving customer issues, and ensuring all processes align with regulatory and internal standards.
Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Assist in achieving agreed sales targets in volume and pricing within the designated sales territory.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, including special product promotions.
Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying potential benefits and cross-selling opportunities.
Gather market intelligence through planning leads, field sales feedback, and customer contacts to enhance proactive sales initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional handling of inquiries, pricing, and complaints.
Investigate root causes of customer complaints and collaborate with the Concrete Director to implement corrective measures.
Maintain regular communication with customers to strengthen business relationships and ensure repeat business.
Data & System Accuracy Maintain accurate pricing and customer data within the internal sales administration system.
Ensure real-time updates to system records to allow access to current and accurate information across departments.
Minimise pricing queries through diligent data management.
Internal & External Communication Collaborate effectively with internal teams across Mick George Concrete and Mick George Ltd.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
Report non-conformances immediately to the Concrete Director and participate in the development of solutions.
Skills & Competencies Required: Proven experience in sales, ideally within the construction or concrete supply industry.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficient in CRM or internal sales administration systems.
Excellent problem-solving and complaint-resolution abilities.
Knowledge of concrete products and industry regulations is an advantage.
Statutory and Policy Compliance: Ensure all duties comply with statutory obligations, including but not limited to: The Health and Safety at Work Act Quality Assurance to ISO 9001/2000 EN206 Concrete Standard Restrictive Trade Practices Act Equality, Diversity, and Non-Discrimination legislation Any other relevant legal or regulatory requirements Adhere to all relevant company policies, standard procedures, and the Quality Assurance Manual.
