We are currently looking for a new HR Administrator (internally known as People Administrator) to join Cambridge Education Group and help us Achieve More!
Are you passionate about people, detail-oriented, and ready to launch your career in HR? Cambridge Education Group (CEG) is seeking a proactive and friendly People Administrator to join our dynamic People Team.
As a People Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and offboarding. You’ll be part of a diverse, expert team that values authenticity, innovation, and collaboration.
This is a great opportunity to work and learn from a professional and diverse people team and obtain a solid foundation of experience in people administration with the opportunity to later progress in either HR or Payroll specialties.
Key responsibilities
* Manage administrative tasks for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Administer new starter paperwork, pre-employment checks, references, and induction.
* Maintain and update employee records on our HRIS (iTrent), including contract changes, absence, and payroll.
* Support colleagues with queries via our ticketing system, phone, and email.
* Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure timely and accurate payments.
* Administer employee benefits and maintain personnel files in line with legal and company standards.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
What we’re looking for
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
* Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); training provided.
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, and numeracy skills.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational ability.
* Friendly, professional, and self-motivated approach.
