Learning Mentor – Newcastle upon Tyne (Kenton area)
£110–£130 per day | Full-time, Long-term
Looking to make a real difference in young people’s lives? This Learning Mentor role in the Kenton area of Newcastle could be the perfect fit. You’ll be supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning, helping them re-engage with education and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
* Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need extra support
* Encouraging positive behaviour and improving engagement in lessons
* Helping students develop resilience, social skills, and motivation
* Collaborating closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth support setting
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Someone who can build strong relationships quickly and positively influence young learners
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
