Overview
We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our restaurant in Houghton Hall Garden Centre. Our competitive rate of pay for the role is £12.45 per hour. The hours for the role are 24 per week over 4 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing a range of meals and snacks from our menu. You will work as part of the team under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Prepare fresh ingredients
* Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
* Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
* Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
* Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
* Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day
