The role
My client, a leading Corporate and Real Estate law firm, with offices all over the globe, is looking to hire a Senior HR Manager, to join their wider HR business partnering team.
This is a pivotal leadership role supporting key practice areas across Finance, Real Estate and Private Equity Investment, where you will act as a senior strategic partner to the business in the UK and EMEA region. Based in London, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver a commercially focused people agenda aligned to the firm’s broader objectives.
As a Senior HR Manager, you will operate as a trusted advisor to practice group leadership, driving forward HR strategy and ensuring the delivery of a high-performing, values-driven culture. You will play a leading role in aligning people initiatives with business priorities, enabling growth, capability building and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to design and implement people strategies that support business objectives
- Drive a high-performance culture underpinned by strong values and clear expectations
- Contribute to regional and global HR initiatives and ensure effective execution locally
- Support resourcing strategies to ensure optimal team structures and sustainable growth
- Build strong, credible relationships with partners and senior leaders across the business
- Lead on partner lifecycle activities including performance, progression and remuneration processes
- Oversee talent management strategies including succession planning, leadership development and mobility
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within the practice groups
- Manage and develop an HR Manager, ensuring delivery of a high-quality HR service
- Collaborate closely with international HR counterparts to ensure consistency and best practice
- Act as a key member of both the HR leadership team and practice group leadership forums
- Provide expert guidance on complex HR matters including disciplinary, grievance and organisational change
- Partner with legal and senior stakeholders on sensitive cases and restructuring initiatives
- Lead on implementing policy changes and driving performance management standards
- Act as a change agent, supporting transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- An experienced HR leader with a strong track record in a professional services environment
- Commercially astute with the ability to influence and operate effectively at senior levels
- Skilled in navigating complex organisational structures and driving strategic people agendas
- Demonstrates strong leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Confident managing ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment
