Job Description
Noble Recruiting are working exclusively with a leading logistics company in Essex, currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead their HR function and drive forward their people strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HR leader to join a successful, fast-paced business and make a significant impact on its future growth.
The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, managing a team of HR professionals, and working closely with senior leadership to develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives. This position plays a key role in driving employee engagement, performance management, and talent development across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of two HR Managers and one HR Administrator, providing guidance and leadership
* Develop and implement HR policies and strategies in line with business objectives
* Work in partnership with senior leaders to support organisational growth and cultural development
* Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR advisory services
* Oversee recruitment processes and develop a talent pipeline to meet business needs
* Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation
* Implement effective performance management systems and support line managers
* Lead on change management projects and business restructuring when required
* Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and industry regulations
* Maintain and update company handbooks, HR policies, and procedures
* Support health and safety policies alongside business leaders
* Attend and contribute to leadership meetings, providing key HR insights
Required Skills and Experience
* CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification or a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior HR role
* Proven experience in HR leadership within a logistics, distribution, supply chain, or fast-paced commercial environment
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Demonstrable success in leading HR teams and delivering people-focused strategies
* Experience in managing HR projects, including restructuring and cultural change programmes
* Ability to work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver strategic objectives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficient in modern HR systems and processes
