Join our Clients Maintenance team as a Handyman, where you will be integral in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of a diverse property portfolio. This role is ideal for a skilled individual with a proactive approach to both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Work independently or with maintenance teams to diagnose and repair faults in building services or fabric.
* Carry out routine reactive and preventative maintenance tasks
* Perform basic plumbing and carpentry maintenance tasks
* Conduct minor repairs to roofing, guttering, pavements, and masonry.
* Support the excavation and repair of drainage pipework or burst water mains, following safety protocols.
* Install concrete or wooden ramps including associated handrails, ensuring compliance with listed building regulations.
* Use MEWPs, cherry pickers, or scaffolding to safely access work areas, maintaining barriers and signage for safety.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records using the CAFM system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in a relevant trade.
* Relevant NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience in building maintenance within a reactive and preventative maintenance environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in using tablets and other digital devices for job tracking and documentation.
* Good communication skills with a client-facing attitude.
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
