Are you a senior HR professional with a passion for people and culture?

Do you enjoy leading HR strategy that drives engagement, development, and performance at every level of a business?

We re supporting a successful, high–growth group of businesses with over 600 employees across the UK and Ireland. They are now looking to recruit a Head of People to lead their HR function and help embed a culture that puts people first, every step of the way.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the senior leadership team and shape the future of a people–first organisation. As Head of People, you ll lead a small but growing HR team and act as a key advisor to the COO and wider senior team. You ll take ownership of the full people agenda, from talent, development and engagement, to pay & reward, culture, and compliance.

You ll be someone who builds trust at every level, has excellent emotional intelligence, and can confidently influence and challenge where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the People function across the group, ensuring HR strategy aligns with business growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on all people–related matters.
• Champion an inclusive, values–led culture that supports wellbeing, engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with Talent and L&D teams to deliver exceptional employee experience and internal development journeys.
• Oversee performance management and reward frameworks, ensuring fairness, clarity and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation in both the UK and Ireland.
• Lead on policy creation, HR reporting, and operational systems that drive insight and support decision–making.

Key Skills & Experience:
• CIPD Level 7 qualification (essential).
• Proven HR leadership experience in a generalist, strategic role.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance and organisational change.
• Emotionally intelligent, highly personable, and confident influencing at all levels.
• Comfortable working in a fast–paced, high–change environment.
• Passionate about creating positive employee experiences and embedding continuous improvement.

• Hybrid working available (minimum 2 3 days in Aylesbury office).
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
