Overview
Our client seeks an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Application Developer with at least 10 years of experience in the platform. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative business applications, developing interfaces between JDE and external systems, and creating mobile solutions across Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
Key Skills and Experience
* ERP Expertise: 10+ years in ERP implementations and JD Edwards modules.
* Integration Skills: Experience with Business Services and Orchestrator.
* Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of JSON/REST services is desirable.
* Programming: Proficiency in C#, C, and object-oriented languages.
* Database Skills: Experience with SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, and IBM i (advantage).
* JDE Toolset: Proficiency with Oracle EnterpriseOne, version Xe or higher.
* Additional Skills: Familiarity with UBE’s, NER’s, C#/.NET, Java, Windows CE.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop features and enhancements for JD Edwards and associated platforms.
* Design and maintain interfaces between JDE and other systems, mainly using C# and .NET.
* Develop mobile applications for Android for warehousing and operations.
* Manage data in SQL Server and DB2 databases.
* Create JSON/REST and Windows services.
* Integrate JDE with third-party software.
* Produce technical documentation and provide support and troubleshooting.
* Server-side programming on IBM i (AS/400) systems.
Location: Remote UK
