About the Role
Boyd Recruitment are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our clients team and take a lead role in the delivery of wind farm projects across Ayrshire. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects, managing site operations from start to finish while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations on wind farm civil engineering projects
Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities, subcontractors, and plant
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
Implement and monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Liaise with clients, engineers, local authorities, and internal project teams
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
Identify and manage risks, resolving site issues efficiently and professionally
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally within the renewable energy or wind farm sector
Strong background in earthworks, foundations, access roads, drainage, and concrete works
SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential
First Aid qualification desirable
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site priorities
Full UK driving licence
