About The Role
As a General Site Manager at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Responsibilities
In this role you will take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met across two homes. You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team, delivering guidance and training to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care homes. Your tasks will include carrying out assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans; monitoring work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies, and legislation; and promoting residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
You will establish a vision and development plan for the home, carry out quality assurance monitoring, and work to exceed regulatory standards with a sense of kindness above everything else.
Qualifications
We are looking for a care-home experienced manager who holds a Registered Managers Award (Level 4), Leadership and Management in Care (Level 4/5), or is willing to study for one. You should have leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams, conduct risk assessments, and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; therefore you must be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect, and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You must also be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
