Job Title: Site Manager – Timber Frame Housing Development (200 Units + 40 Flats)

We are working in partnership with a leading PLC house builder to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a large, fast-paced residential development comprising 200 timber frame houses and 40 traditionally built apartments.
This is a high-profile scheme where all plots are pre-sold, creating a programme-driven environment that requires strong organisation, sequencing, and leadership from an experienced housing professional.
You will be joining a well-established, high-performing team on a flagship development with clear structure, support, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a major residential developer.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for managing phases of the development, ensuring plots are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards in line with programme demands.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing daily site operations on a busy timber frame housing development
*
Reading and interpreting drawings and working closely to programme
*
Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour to meet build schedules
*
Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
*
Leading and motivating the site team to maintain high standards of health & safety and quality
*
Driving production in a fast-paced, plot-driven environment
*
Ensuring customer expectations are met on a pre-sold scheme
About You
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within a PLC house building environment
*
Strong background delivering timber frame housing schemes
*
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, programme-led environment
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
*
Ability to read drawings and manage build sequencing effectively
*
Strong communication skills and experience liaising with clients and site teams
*
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualified
