Overview
Our client in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector is currently seeking skilled Site Managers to oversee operations across multiple locations. This permanent role requires professionals with a background in substation management, though experience in cabling or HV electrical work is also highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing on-site activities to ensure project milestones are met within specified timelines
* Overseeing substation construction and maintenance projects
* Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
* Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to streamline project execution
* Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
* Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during project implementation
* Maintaining detailed and accurate site records
* Mentoring and supervising site personnel
Job Requirements
* Experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the substation or T&D sector
* Knowledge of cabling and HV electrical work is advantageous but not essential
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) accreditation
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
* First Aid qualification
