What you're doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.
Key responsibilities
* Planning and organising all site labour, including subcontractors
* Allocating work across direct and indirect labour
* Ensuring efficient use of resources on site
* Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety at all times
* Ensuring Quality Control procedures are followed
* Keeping accurate site records, registers, and electronic filing systems up to date
* Checking and authorising timesheets for direct labour
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site environment
* Managing waste reduction and environmental standards
* Protecting the public and ensuring safe site access at all times
* Maintaining a professional site image at all times
* Ensuring CCS (Considerate Constructors Scheme) standards are met
What we’re looking for
* A Construction or Civil Engineering related qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Previous site management experience within the construction industry
* Valid CSCS card
* SMSTS qualification
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices
* First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Membership of CIOB, ICE or CEng (desirable)
