Technical Sales Executive – Fastener Industry
Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Quarterly Bonus

I’m currently working with a well-established fastener manufacturer based in the West Midlands who is looking to recruit a driven Technical Sales Executive to join their growing team.
This is a technically focused, customer-facing role, working with a defined portfolio of end-user accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high level of service while identifying opportunities to grow spend within existing customers.
The Role:
* Managing a set list of customer accounts
* Building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of customer requirements
* Preparing detailed and accurate quotations
* Costing jobs independently and reading/understanding technical drawings
* Responding to technical enquiries promptly and providing an exceptional level of service
* Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend
* Outbound cold calling will be expected as part of the role
* Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
About You:
* Background in technical sales within the fastener industry (essential)
* Previous costing experience beneficial but not essential (training can be provided)
* Proven sales ability with a strong commercial mindset
* Comfortable working in a busy, technical environment
* Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player
Package & Benefits:
* Salary: Up to £42,000
* Quarterly Bonus
* Working hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm / Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
