Reporting to the Director of Groups, Meetings and Events in London, you will be responsible for reactive lead management, selling, and revenue conversion within the reactive Groups, Meetings and Events team for The Doyle Collection portfolio, which includes The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury, and The Kensington.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage enquiry inboxes by qualifying groups, meetings, and events enquiries, distributing them to the team, and prioritizing based on sales strategy.
2. Achieve revenue and KPI targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
3. Meet set revenue budgets for groups, meetings, and events.
4. Understand sales strategies and effectively rate yield to maximize revenue.
5. Handle enquiries promptly, aiming for response times within 4 hours for UK and 12 hours internationally.
6. Follow up on proposals within 48 hours to ensure enquiry conversion and manage the sales pipeline.
7. Negotiate pricing to maximize conversions and meet monthly budgets.
8. Cross-sell The Doyle Collection during initial enquiries to promote the full hotel portfolio.
9. Issue and negotiate contracts for groups, meetings, and events.
10. Prepare thorough handovers of bookings to the planning team.
11. Lead daily sales meetings to set priorities and ensure timely responses.
12. Follow PCI guidelines when securing deposits and payments.
13. Conduct site inspections, demonstrating venue capabilities and upselling opportunities.
14. Assist in creating and maintaining department SOPs.
15. Contribute to the department's budget planning.
16. Support training and development within the team.
17. Champion specialized segments like Venue Directory, Cvent, HeadBox as agreed with the Director.
18. Support the integrity of sales processes within The London Collection.
19. Assist with departmental projects, including new technology implementation.
20. Build strong relationships with sales, management, revenue, and operations teams across hotels.
21. Maintain knowledge of and connections within the local marketplace.
