My client, a national developer, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a scheme in Cambridgeshire. The scheme will consist of 150+ traditional new build units, including HA, private sale and PSR
This would be an ideal role for an experienced No1 SM lwho has exoerience of started and finsihing large traditional schemes & been part of an NHBC award winning scheme
Duties,
1. No1 reporting to a Contract Managers/CD
2. Responsible for a ASM or Trainee
3. Chairing sub-contractor meetings
4. Programming
5. Working inline with build programme and KPIS
6. H&S, ensuring all staff are working in line with health & safety
7. RAMS
8. Material call offs
9. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and target
10. Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times
11. Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
12. Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
13. Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
14. NHBC stage inspections
15. Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
16. Updating of site progress
17. Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
18. Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
19. Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
20. CMLs, Handovers
Qualifications,
21. Experience of working on traditional build schemes
22. Experience of being part of a PIJ award winning scheme
23. Working as part of a full production team
24. CSCS,
25. First Aid
26. Scaffold awareness
