Nets4You is one of the leading netting manufacturing companies in the UK. An exciting opportunity has come up for a full-time capable and efficient Warehouse Production & Quality Manager to join our team in Stanmore, London.
The successful candidate will be required to work in between the office and the manufacturing warehouse, and will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse & staff, and the management & quality control of goods production. If you are driven to learn and develop your management skills, this is an ideal job for you. Full and extensive training will be provided on the job.

Responsibilities
Typical roles and responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
* Managing the team of warehouse staff.
* Managing production of products and workflow.
* Working closely with production team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled timely and accurately.
* Managing quality and adherence to specification at all stages of the production process.
* Understanding of and ability to participate in production processes.
* Maintaining accurate records of production for future reference.
* Manage warehouse operations including inventory management, warehousing, receiving, shipping, and delivery.
* Ensuring production equipment is correctly used and maintained.
* Taking responsibility for Health and Safety processes and procedures, including staff training.
* Setting objectives, analysing performance and making decisions in relation to warehouse staff.
* Maintaining on site safety compliance.
* Liaising with office staff to convert customer orders to production worksheets with specifications.
* Answering customer phone calls and dealing with customer orders when required.
* Strategic planning in close co-operation with the company directors.
* Development, control and optimisation of the warehouse and production processes.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Qualities:
* Experience in leading and managing a team of warehouse workers.
* Ability to prioritize and multitask in a customer-focused production environment.
* Ability to learn existing systems and follow procedures accurately in an production environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision following training.
* Experience operating or willingness to learn how industrial sewing machine operate in terms of basic functioning and repairs.
* Ability to read and understand customer orders and technical drawings.
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems proactively and effectively.
* Willingness to take initiative and grow into the role as required.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Efficient time management skills.
* Enthusiastic and motivated to learn and become an integrated long-term member of the team.
* Forklift licence for Flexi and Still trucks (or the willingness to learn) is a strong asset.
* Computer Literate.
A UK driving licence and a fork lift licence are strong assets. The company manufactures products using sewing machines, so knowledge of such industrial machines would be beneficial but not essential.
