Duties
* Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
* Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen workspace, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene at all times
* Cook a variety of dishes, including main courses, sides, and desserts, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Support meal preparation for both individual orders and large-scale catering events
* Serve food to customers or colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
* Follow food safety guidelines diligently, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
* Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy periods
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or catering environment
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
* Experience in meal preparation and culinary techniques
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in serving or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential
* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
* A genuine passion for food service and hospitality industry standards

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
