ABOUT THE ROLE
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition – Lead end-to-end hiring for site and office roles, developing strategies to attract skilled tradespeople, engineers, and professionals.
Employee Relations – Act as a trusted advisor to staff and managers, resolving workplace issues promptly and positively, and fostering a collaborative culture.
HR Compliance & Policies – Ensure adherence to employment law, health & safety regulations, and company policies, keeping our practices legally sound and up to date.
Workforce Planning – Partner with leadership to anticipate project staffing needs and support long-term workforce development.
Training & Development – Support staff growth through onboarding, skills programs, and career progression initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Proven experience as a HR Manager or Head of HR (preferably in construction or related industries).
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance requirements.
3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
4. A hands-on recruiter with the ability to attract top talent in a competitive market.
5. CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable.

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the construction industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £80k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
