Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to customers.
* Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
* Provide support in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in fast-paced settings.
