Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines. The role reports to the Construction Manager and involves managing all aspects of a development site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily site operations and provide clear direction to the team.
2. Implement and monitor health and safety procedures.
3. Motivate, support, and manage site staff through coaching and training.
4. Maintain site presentation standards.
5. Ensure compliance with technical plans and building regulations.
6. Prepare and update progress reports and site records.
7. Inspect and ensure remedial work is completed before inspections.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience as a Site or Assistant Site Manager with a high-volume residential builder.
* Strong team management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above), CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates required.
* Desirable: Construction Management qualifications, Scaffold Appreciation, and LOLER certificates.
