About The Role
You will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that all apprentices and stakeholders have a professional and high-quality experience with us, leading to outstanding outcomes aligned with the College's strategic aims and objectives.
You will lead a team of Assessors and Administrators, providing support, training, and development to achieve high levels of achievement for our Apprentices.
About The Person
* You will be proactive, well-organized, with a thorough understanding of Apprenticeships Funding guidelines and effective quality assurance of apprenticeship delivery.
* You will demonstrate significant successful experience in Apprenticeship delivery.
* Must have leadership experience and be able to manage, motivate, and inspire good working relationships with the team and stakeholders. Experience in monitoring and tracking team performance and delivering effective CPD is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with curriculum managers and their teams to improve qualification and achievement rates.
* Ability to demonstrate due diligence with compliance and audit quality assurance to ensure apprenticeship documentation meets audit requirements.
About The College
We are a large, regional college serving York and North Yorkshire, with a population of over one million people. Annually, we serve approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students.
Our education options range from entry-level programs to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and professional courses. We offer a wide range of apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5 across various pathways. We are the largest provider of A-Level and vocational programs for school leavers in the region, with nearly 35 A-Level subjects and over 80 vocational courses, including T-Levels.
We are part of a consortium developing the Yorkshire and Humber Institute of Technology (IoT) to enhance higher-level technical skills for employers.
