We are looking to recruit a talented HR Manager to join our UK business, operating out of our brand-new office in Salford Quay Exchange, Manchester. This role is pivotal to enabling Teltonika to grow our presence in the UK and Ireland, through developing a motivated, professional and successful workforce, focused on delivering exceptional customer service, and in turn growing our customer base.
In this role, you will:
* We are growing, which means we are recruiting. We need you to lead this in the UK, with support from colleagues in our group recruitment team.
* Develop the people plan. We plan to grow from one employee to 70 colleagues over the next 3 years. We need a plan to align to the 5-year UK strategy.
* Develop and oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
* Develop and update local HR policies to meet local market demands, whilst ensuring alignment to Group Policy.
* Develop strong people analytics and reporting to the UK CEO and group.
* Ensure legal compliance throughout our people processes.
* Provide support and training to line managers as required, whilst also supporting any formal processes as required, ensuring sound HR advice is being used as required.
* Develop our employee engagement and talent retention plan, ensuring our colleagues feel valued and understand their contribution to the company.
* Supporting as required with other tasks that may crop up. We are a start up after all.
What we expect of you:
* A Human Resources qualification such as BS/MS degree or CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources/People Management.
* Strong HR work experience, providing you a strong understanding of UK employment law.
* Experience of working with HR management systems and producing insightful data reporting.
* Strong experience in attracting, recruiting and onboarding new employees in a way that creates a positive relationship with new colleagues from day 1.
* Excellent communication skills and either be, or have the potential to be, a very strong leader.
* Experience in developing both strategy documents and business cases, to support the overall people plan.
* The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts.
* Solid ethics and morals and sound judgement.
* You are a resilient and results driven HR professional.
* Experience of setting up an apprenticeship programme would be advantageous but not essential.
