About the Role
Join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders, as a Senior Site Manager in our North London Division, managing a development located in Trumps Green Road, Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25 4JA. You will oversee all aspects of the construction site, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction within set timescales.
Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day site operations and provide clear leadership and direction.
2. Implement health and safety procedures, working closely with the H&S team.
3. Motivate and support site staff through training, coaching, and management.
4. Maintain site presentation standards.
5. Ensure compliance with technical, planning, building regulations, and warranty requirements.
6. Maintain accurate records of progress, labour, materials, and safety.
7. Ensure remedial work is completed ahead of inspections.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience as a Site or Senior Site Manager with a high-volume residential builder.
* Team management experience.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and building legislation.
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
* Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates.
* Desirable: Construction Management qualifications (HNC/HND/NVQ Level 6), Scaffold Appreciation, LOLER certificates.
Skills & Aptitude
* Effective communication and listening skills.
* Good administrative skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
