Role Overview

Sheffield Girls is looking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to deliver a high‑quality, efficient and professional HR service to our school community. The role requires collaboration with HR colleagues across the cluster, the HR Manager (Cluster) and the GDST HR Business Partner.


Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on recruitment, payroll, employee records and accurate upkeep of the Single Central Register (SCR) to ensure ISI compliance.
* Act as the key point of contact for staff, managers and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed at all levels.


Qualifications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
* Confidence in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed at all levels.
* Experience in a busy HR role, ideally within an education setting.
* CIPD Level 3 qualification desirable, or equivalent HR experience at this level.
