About the Company We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering large-scale, high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. Known for excellence, innovation, and consistent delivery, this contractor works on flagship schemes and maintains long-term partnerships with major developers.
The Project A major new-build development in Hough Top comprising high-volume, high-end residential units. This is a fast-paced, quality-driven scheme requiring strong leadership, exceptional organisation, and proven residential delivery expertise.
The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
This is an ongoing role offering long-term stability on a prestigious development.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
Manage build programmes and drive progress to meet deadlines
Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction
Conduct regular site meetings and liaise with senior management
Monitor budgets, materials, and resource allocation
Ensure customer care and finishing standards meet high-end expectations
Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on volume residential new-build projects
Experience working for leading general contractors / national housebuilders
Strong understanding of housing construction processes and sequencing
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage multiple trades in a high-volume environment
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
