I am currently recruiting for a supervisor / small works manager for a main contractor based in Bedfordshire to work on multiple small council works for existing properties within the Bedford area on an ongoing contract. Projects ranging from £5k up to £50k with works being new Kitchen & Bathrooms, Re Plastering, New electrical and external refurbishment works.
We are looking for a candidate who has ideally worked within the housing and refurbishment sector.
My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate with travel and looking to start the candidate ASAP.
Key duties
* Manage multiple small works housing projects simultaneously from scope of works through to completion and handover
* Plan, programme, and coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors
* Ensure projects are delivered on time
* Liaise with residents
* Work closely with the Council surveyors
* Carry out site visits, progress reviews, and snagging inspections
