As our next Offshore General Site Manager, you will work as part of the wider Construction Department to support global offshore wind projects in late development and construction phases. You will collaborate with a diverse team to innovate and set standards for offshore construction, developing and managing offshore construction solutions to ensure a sustainable future.

About The Role
As our next General Site Manager, you will oversee the Offshore Site Management team, managing installation and commissioning activities with tier 1 contractors. You will support senior management and fulfill specific CDM responsibilities during the construction phase.
Responsibilities include:
1. Planning and coordinating offshore site management works in line with company policies, regulations, and project frameworks, prioritizing client interests.
2. Ensuring all works comply with HSE policies, 8 Life-Saving Rules, and local laws like H&S@W 1974 and CDM 2015.
3. Managing emergency response planning, medical needs, and HSE monitoring.
4. Collaborating with Procurement to manage processes from ITT development to contract signing.
5. Managing a team of experts providing specialist input for offshore site management.
6. Supporting engineering processes to address buildability, interfaces, and safety by design.
7. Fostering a collaborative, transparent work culture emphasizing knowledge sharing.
8. Facilitating clear communication with internal and external parties.
9. Managing resources, budgets, and risks within the team.
Key Skills and Experience
1. A degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Marine Logistics, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
2. Experience in offshore wind farm project operations.
3. Knowledge of offshore construction contracts and vessel chartering.
4. Comprehensive understanding of HSE aspects in offshore construction, compliant with relevant laws.
5. Leadership skills and ability to work in a multinational team.
6. Problem-solving skills with good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Willingness to travel and work offshore and at heights.
8. Fluency in English, spoken and written.
