We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills to undertake various maintenance, repair, and building tasks across residential and commercial properties. Duties
* Conduct general repairs and maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
* Carry out minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as required.
* Assist with renovation projects, including demolition, refurbishment, and installation work.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
* Manage time effectively to complete multiple projects within designated deadlines.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times.
* Liaise with clients or project managers regarding work progress and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a handyman or builder, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or general building trades are desirable.
* Excellent practical skills across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and decorating.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour throughout the working day.
* Valid UK driving licence is advantageous for travel between sites.
* A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety standards.
