40 hours per week, 8am to 4pm Mon - Friday
Churchfields Care Home is a high quality, safe and homely environment for our residents and their families and friends. We want them to be proud of their home and so we are looking for a Maintenance/Handyman to help with the following:
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and decorating.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents or staff in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs or installations
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of common areas and facilities
- Assist with snow removal and landscaping duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and heating systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic proficiency in English

Please note the position will involve assisting our sister home; Rosebank in Bampton so a full clean driving licence is required.
