The Role We are hiring an Outbound Sales Executive to join our commercial team and support business growth by identifying and qualifying opportunities within the energy market. This is a high-activity, target-driven role where you will be: Speaking to businesses that are not expecting your call Building conversations from scratch Identifying genuine commercial opportunities You will spend a large part of your day on the phone and will be expected to contribute to team performance from day one. Key Responsibilities Engage UK businesses through high-volume outbound calling Identify key decision-makers and build initial relationships Qualify opportunities by understanding: Current suppliers Contract renewal dates Energy usage and requirements Request and validate energy bills (gas, electricity, water) Maintain accurate records in CRM (HubSpot) Pass qualified opportunities to the Corporate Pricing team Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets What We’re Looking For We are looking for individuals with the right mindset and approach to performance. You will be a strong fit if you: Are confident speaking to new people on the phone Are target-driven and competitive Show resilience when conversations don’t land Take ownership of your performance Have strong attention to detail (particularly with data and information) Are motivated by earning potential and progression ✔ Experience in sales, call centre or customer-facing roles is beneficial ✔ Energy sector experience is an advantage but not essential What You’ll Get £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary (DOE) Structured and transparent commission scheme Realistic OTE of £40 - £60,000 in year one Full training and ongoing coaching Clear progression pathway into: Senior Lead Generator Energy Consultant Private Medical (Vitality) Performance-based incentives and team rewards Working Environment This is a performance-driven environment: You will be measured on activity, quality, and results Consistency and effort are expected daily High performers progress quickly (typically within 6–12 months) This role suits individuals who are comfortable working towards targets and want to build a long-term career in sales.
