Overview
In this role, you will be working on the Anglian Water Alliance part of the IMRDS (integrated maintenance, repair & developer services). The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the mainlaying team, supporting them in the site management of projects from inception to completion. The role site-based working collaboratively between other members of the delivery team.
Day to day responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of supervisors, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site
* Effective utilisation of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes
* Carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality, environmental and performance standards
* Ensure work meets required water industry regulations and Anglian Water approved standards
* Ensure cost and progress issues are highlighted & reported in a timely manner via proactive and innovative situation solving skills
What are we looking for?
* Effective management of sub-contractors with excellent customer relationship skills within the construction/ utilities/ water industry
* The following tickets: SMSTS, CSCS and NRSWA Supervisor
* People management experience
* Basic IT skills including Microsoft programmes
* Full driving licence
