Salary: Band G, points 18 - 22 - £31,- £33,

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

About You:
As the HR Officer you will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and have a solid understanding of HR processes and policies. Additionally, you are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Our ideal candidate will have:
1. Level 3 CIPD qualification, GCSEs (or equivalent experience) in Maths and English, and be working towards or willing to undertake a Level 5 CIPD qualification
2. Background in working in a fast-paced environment.
3. Involvement in conducting pre-employment checks and onboarding.
4. Track record of providing advice and guidance on low-level case work, e.g. supporting absence management.
5. Experience of accurate and timely data entry into HR and payroll systems.

The HR team supporting the Norfolk schools within Creative Education Trust is a close-knit group of dedicated professionals, comprising of a Regional HR Business Partner, two HR Officers, and a Recruitment Administrator. Each HR Officer manages their own portfolio of schools, fostering a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Despite this individual focus, we operate with a deeply collaborative spirit-sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and working together to ensure consistency and excellence across all our schools.
