About the Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected regional contractor known for delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, and steel-frame projects across the East Midlands and East Anglia. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager with proven industrial shed / steel-frame build experience to join the team.
Role Overview
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and maintain excellent communication with project teams, clients, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all site operations from groundworks through to completion
*
Manage subcontractors, site labour and logistics effectively
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
*
Chair site meetings and liaise closely with the Project Manager
*
Monitor progress, quality, and costs, resolving issues promptly
*
Maintain accurate site records, paperwork, and reporting
*
Ensure work is delivered to client expectations and project deadlines
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager in industrial shed / steel-frame construction
*
Strong understanding of industrial units, warehouses, portal frame structures
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
*
Ability to read drawings, coordinate trades, and manage fast-track builds
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
*
Full UK driving licence
