Job Advert: Experienced Site Manager
Role: Site Manager.
Location: Pitsea, Essex.
Project and Role Focus
This is a critical, long‑term contract role that requires leadership from the very beginning of the project lifecycle. It focuses on managing the entire construction process, requiring an exceptionally strong background in groundworks. For the first six months, you will oversee and drive all site preparation and groundworks activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence. Afterward, you will manage the installation of structural elements, mainly using modular build techniques.
Key Requirements
* Mandatory: Proven experience as a Site Manager, managing projects from groundworks through to completion/handover.
* Essential: A demonstrably strong background in groundworks and civil engineering.
* Desirable: Prior experience with modular build or off‑site construction methods is highly beneficial.
* Qualifications: Up‑to‑date relevant Site Manager certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
