Your Responsibilities:
9. Manage the day to day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets.
10. Manage and implement health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers and ensure that that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered too.
11. Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance.

Required Skills:
13. Experience of working as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on housing sites.
14. Experience of effectively managing teams
15. Up to date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
16. GCSE Maths and English - Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent); Construction Management - HNC Level 4, HND Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 is desirable
17. Relevant qualification in Construction or CIOB membership
18. Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent), valid SMSTS certificate, valid First Aid certificate
19. Effective communication and listening skills, and good administration skills
20. Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously
21. Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
22. Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
23. Pride in the job award is desired
24. Full UK Driving License
