Catering Manager – Kendrew Barracks
£30,000 per annum | 37.5 hours per week
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and have a passion for great food? We’re looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Kendrew Barracks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, leading a motivated team and delivering exceptional service every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding food and customer service
* Driving efficiency across all catering operations – from stock management to budgets and action planning
* Overseeing stock levels and ordering across multiple sites
* Accurately completing weekly and monthly accounts
* Carrying out internal audits to ensure compliance with company standards and legislation
* Working closely with the General Manager and Military teams to achieve targets and KPIs
* Spotting opportunities to introduce new services and drive sales
* Acting as the key link between customers and our teams to maintain a high standard of service
* Coaching, developing, and supporting your team to help them excel
* Maintaining the highest levels of Health & Safety compliance across all areas
What We’re Looking For
* A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
* At least 2 years’ management experience in a similar role or sector
* A strong background in food service operations and customer care
* Great financial acumen with experience managing budgets and stock
* Ambitious, motivated, and passionate about continuous improvement
* A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
