What's involved with this role: HR Administrator Guildford 5270452 £13.80 per hour PAYE Hybrid working The role: To provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Payroll. This includes managing communication with applicants, colleagues, councillors, and external stakeholders through various channels such as in-person interactions, email, and phone. Key accountabilities: Use the Business World system to raise and check Purchase Orders, ensuring timely and accurate payment of HR invoices. Monitor and prioritise the HR inboxes and Service Desk tickets, escalating urgent or complex issues as needed. Respond to routine HR enquiries, including reference requests, document access, and benefit claims like eye vouchers. Arrange and coordinate interviews, onboarding, inductions, and probation meetings. Provide administrative support across the HR team, including assistance with projects and end-of-year financial tasks. Maintain up-to-date HR filing and accurate data entry in Business World and other systems. Support the Payroll Manager with processing payroll changes and handling payslip, P60, and P45 requests. Assist the Learning and Development Manager with administrative tasks and manage the L&D inbox, escalating as necessary. Key criteria: Previous experience as an administrator Working within an HR, Payroll or L&D team (desirable) Ability to deal with telephone and personal enquiries courteously. Attention to accuracy and detail.
