We are recruiting a Head of People for a dynamic and design-led luxury lifestyle restaurant group, recognised for delivering exceptional guest experiences across a collection of high-profile London venues.

As the organisation looks to further strengthen its people strategy and support continued growth, this role will play a key part in shaping culture, developing talent and ensuring the operational teams consistently reflect the standards and values of the brand.
This is not simply an HR leadership role, it’s an opportunity to build and embed a progressive, culture-led people function that enables performance while enhancing the employee experience across the group.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be instrumental in aligning people strategy with business objectives, supporting leaders and building a high-performing, engaged and commercially focused workforce.
The role
Reporting into the Director of People and Culture, you will work closely with General Managers and other stakeholders, you will drive recruitment, retention and succession planning, ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains high-calibre talent.
A key focus of the role will be strengthening employee engagement and embedding a high-performance culture, balancing operational excellence with a genuine focus on people experience.
You’ll oversee all aspects of HR operations, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation while continuously improving processes, policies and ways of working.
Leading a team of three, you’ll provide direction, coaching and support, ensuring the People function operates with both credibility and impact across the estate.
Highly visible across the venues, you’ll build strong relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted partner to leadership and a cultural ambassador for the brand.
Strategic but hands-on, you’ll combine commercial awareness with emotional intelligence, ensuring people initiatives drive measurable business outcomes.
Essential experience we’re looking for
* Proven HR leadership experience within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands
* Experience operating across a multi-site environment
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link people strategy to business performance
* Demonstrable experience in recruitment, retention and succession planning
* Experience building and embedding high-performance, engagement-led cultures
* Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and advising at leadership level
* Hands-on, visible leadership style with strong relationship-building skills
* Experience managing and developing a small People team
* Highly organised, pragmatic and delivery-focused
* Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
* CIPD qualification preferred
