About the Role
As the International Employment Lawyer for SSP, you will act as the key employment law advisor across the company's EMEA operations. You will be in constant contact with key stakeholders across the business such as the People/HR team, leaders in a range of territories, and the board.
You will provide specialist knowledge on employment law matters, particularly focusing on advisory support for our global senior leaders employment arrangements and the various global mobility arrangements we have across the business.
You will need to be comfortable being approached for support, guidance and advice on a range of legal matters including, advising on employment contracts, HR policies, non-competes, temporary workforce issues, and redundancies. Having an input into executive hires (and exits).
Managing relationships with external counsel in the UK and overseas, advising on litigious matters relating to investigations, disciplinary processes and performance improvement plans.
What youll be doing:
1. Provide legal advice and guidance on international legal issues
2. Research and analyse legal issues in different jurisdictions
3. Draft and review international employment contracts, agreements, settlements and legal documents in accordance with laws of multiple jurisdiction
