In order to manage mechanical works on active projects.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience in the mechanical services industry and hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Pipefitting.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering mechanical works safely, to a high quality standard of installation and on time, while also contributing directly to pipework installation activities if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site.
* Manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards.
* Liaise with clients and Main Contractors.
* Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, time sheets, and material/plant requisitions.
* Ensure works meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Pipefitting
* CSCS card – Supervisor
* SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred or willing to obtain)
* First Aid at Work (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence
* Clean criminal record due DBS checks on sensitive projects
