School Finance and HR Manager
The role is for 20 hours per week, term time only with days and times of attendance to be discussed with the successful candidate.
We are looking for a dedicated team player to work closely with the leadership team to support the development of the school, providing expertise and knowledge to keep the school in a strong financial position. You will take the lead role in finance, HR and administration, working with the leadership team to manage budgets and procurement strategies as well as day-to-day running of the school business functions.
We are looking for someone who:
- Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, parents and visitors
- Has experience of HR management and knowledge of employment practices including safer recruitment
- Has strong people skills and flexibility to contribute to a small team in a busy school environment
- Is organised and able to plan and prioritise workload under pressure meeting deadlines
- Can solve problems efficiently and make effective decisions
- Builds positive working relationships across the school and community
- Works well as part of a team, uses their initiative
You will be joining Ewhurst CE Infant School at an exciting time in the school's history. From September 2026, Ewhurst CE Infant School is expanding to become a half-form entry Primary School. The school is at the heart of Ewhurst village and this year is celebrating it's 180th Anniversary.
