🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Estimate and sell structural steel fabrication projects across the commercial/industrial sectors.
* Lead bid proposals and submissions for regional & national clients.
* Engage with architects, structural engineers, main contractors, and fabrication/erection contacts.
* Perform accurate take-offs, review technical drawings, and propose value engineering.
* Coordinate with in-house design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships to secure repeat and new business.
âś… Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in selling or estimating structural steel fabrication.
* Strong technical knowledge of structural steel systems, fabrication, erection, cladding, glazing, etc.
* Experience interpreting architectural, structural, and envelope drawings.
* Commercial mindset, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
* Self-starter who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
* Technical qualification (HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent) preferred.
