Overview
Administrative Assistant – reporting to the Managing Director. The role supports the human resources function of the client, a leading organisation in the oil and gas, renewables, defence and nuclear sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update company HR records on HR systems, including absence, performance concerns, training and compliance.
* Prepare monthly HR reports for board inclusion.
* Provide payroll support for new hires, leavers, salary changes and allowances.
* Advise managers on company HR policy and ensure HR deadlines are adhered to.
* Liaise with 3rd‑party HR specialists and managers on specific employer‑relation cases.
* Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process and exit process with support from recruiting managers.
* Assist in processing accounts payable invoices and month‑end reconciliations.
* Provide general administrative support to the office.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking skills, be proficient in Microsoft 365, and have a willingness to develop knowledge of HR and finance disciplines. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
